Alice called. The head of Champion Games (PRO-QUARTERBACK, etc) was in. He wants TOTTER and SUCCESSION sent to him. Looked at following and wasn't interested:

  • AIRLINES:- doesn't want a money game.
  • MAVERICK COUNTRY:- doesn't want a game played with dice.
  • GO SEE:- doesn't want a party game.
  • INVASION:- is working on a war game himself but isn't sure if he wants one in line now.
  • LOA:- He is more interested in "Succession."

Alice wants to try INFINITE PLANE on him and I'll bring it there Thursday. I suggested TAKE A NUMBER and I'll try and finish it up this weekend. Alice said that he looked at BAZAAR and he said that he thought it was the only 3M game that looked original. I thought that SPECTRUM might be an idea to try on him. He also said that TUF is the kind of game he likes.

Letter from Scientific Games Development Corp. They will sell me CONCENSUS for $5.95, tho the listed retail price is $7.95.

Rcd. a delightful letter from Roy Makepiece. He is sending me his new motivational system for FOCUS and a pocket set he has made up, one for him and one for me. Wanted to be sure I hadn't moved. Sent back an envelope he provided with a short letter.

Wrote to Mike Abrams telling him about SUCCESSION and asking him to send an agent's agreement to Alice.

Deposited 3M check in Union Sq. Bank and got a check for Alice.
