At cross country bought 3 sheets of Illustration Board
& 6 sheets of whit Railroad Board.
Bought SWITCH, a series of rearranging by jumping puzzles. Dale &
Joe played with it for a while in evening.

Made more arrows for DETOUR, to a total of 52. In evening played
it with Dave. [crossed out - illegible] Played that each player in turn could place an
arrow wherever he wished, and pointing in any direction, with
the following exceptions : - 1) Two arrows cannot point towards each
other. An arrow cannot point off the board on either player's starting row.
When all the arrows are down players in turn can
turn an arrow 90[degrees] in either direction, but cannot move the
arrow previously moved (or placed in the case of the last arrow).
Long before all the arrows were placed it became impossible for
either player to win by placement, and the further placement
was not too interesting. Think it will be better to use only 36
arrows.

Played FOIL with BB, Marilyn and Debbie. They liked it and my
scoring was O.K. With 4 players 12 hands are required and
it takes too long.
