WEDNESDAY 17 JANUARY Benjamin Franklin--Born 1706 1968 17th day - 349 days to come

Arthur called. Wants to get together for a NYGA meeting. He has gotten his HIGH DECK manuscript back from Antheum (spelling?). They liked it greatly, but couldn't handle it. We discussed getting together for me to re- produce the game rule section.

Finished putting the 1967 game diary on cards.

(cont. from 1/18) [1/18] Arthur told me that he is adding a 33rd card to the HIGH DECK. It will be a type of "pariah". It will be particularly usefull for 3 hand games.

Claude has an idea for a GAME. There is a single path with various drawings and colors in the spaces. There are some 12 different tokens. They are divided equally between the players by chance, a player knowing his own but not his opponents. They start in a lineup occupying the first spaces in the path. Each player in turn moves one of the tokens, his own or one of the others as he wishes. The token is moved to the next unoccuppied space ahead. When certain combinations of two or more occuppied spaces are completed by the move, the moving token is killed and is out of the game. First token to reach the end of the path wins.

Started looking thru the 1967 Playthings and Toys & Novelties Magazines, and taking out clippings.
