SATURDAY 27 MAY 1967 147th day - 218 days to come
In Plattsburg saw KENTUCKY DERBY (Whitman). There is a race
track with about 50 spaces in the curr circuit. There
are 8 horses, known as 4A, 5A, 6, 7, 8, 9A, 10A, & Double Trouble.
There are four dice, two colored and two white. The two
colored dice determine the horse that moves and the two
white dice the distance. The numbers that a horse moves
on and the basic odds for that horse are as follows:
[column 1: Odds 6 to 1] [row: 5A - Moves on 5 or 3] [row: 7 - Moves on 7] [row: 9A - Moves on 9 or 11] [row: D.T. - Moves on any double (along with other horse)]
[column 2: Odds 7 to 1] [row: 6 - Moves on 6] [row: 8 - Moves on 8]
[column 3: Odds 9 to 1] [row: 9A - Moves on 4 or 2] [row: 10A - Moves on 10 or 12]
There are a lot of rules for different kinds of combination bets, and a good supply of betting tickets.
At Floyd's saw JAMES BOND 007 CARD GAME (M.B.) (see 4/13/66). Each player gets a total chip value of 36 and each chips 4 chips to the pot. When a player is out of chips he is out of the game and the game is over when the pot it out of chips.
