Claude looked at some games submitted to Paul. One he took with him is called <u>JUM-PING</u> and was published in Columbia. It is played on a quadrille board which has an hourglass shape. The players start at the long ends and move towards each other as in <u>CHINESE CHECKERS</u>. Jumps are not captures except a horizontal jump which is. At the Far ends the spaces are numbered. The player scores for pcs. [pieces] brought to these squares - the value of the square. He'll bring it along Monday.
