MONDAY 9 JANUARY 1967
9th day - 356 days to come
Thinking of a game which could be called PATTERNS.
There is a board divided into an irregular pattern
similer to a tile floor. Probably it would be preferable
to have about 3 or
4 different colors. Ther
There are a number
of cards with a portion of a
pattern, as for example : -
[TWO RELATED DIAGRAMS ARE SHOWN. THE LARGER SHOWS A PORTION OF A TILED BOARD WHICH IS POPULATED WITH BOTH SQUARE TILES AND RECTANGULAR TILES. THE WORD 'ETC.' IS WRITTEN TO INDICATE THIS IS ONLY A PORTION OF WHAT WOULD BE A LARGER BOARD.
THE SMALLER DIAGRAM SHOWS 2 GROUPS OF 2 TILES THAT PRESUMABLY A PLAYER WOULD ATTEMPT TO MATCH TO A PATTERN SHOWN ON THE LARGER BOARD.]
Game is based on finding
the portion of the main
pattern in which the cards fit. Just a germ of an idea.
