Spoke to Claude. He told me of a thing they had at the I.B.M <br>
pavillion at the fair called "Random Walk". A piece <br>
starts at a center space. There are 2 dice : - E, E, W, W,  <br>
BLANK, BLANK & S, S, N, N, BLANK, BLANK. <br>
The two dice are thrown and the piece moved (by a light) <br>
in the direction thrown. The pc. moves back and forth <br>
and should <s>ma</s> take 36 moves to move 6 spaces from the <br>
center; 49 moves to move 7 spaces; etc. <br>
He has devised a trivial "swindle" using cards,  <br>
based on this.
