At Alexander's saw:- HIT THE BEACH (M.B.) One of their $5 war series but very poor. Board with map of a pacific isle. There are 4 approaches, one for each of the 4 possible players; can also be played by 2 or 3, using that many approaches. There are "Japanese" pcs. placed on each approach. Players have military pcs. of various kinds. Move by throw of dice. Must clear out Jap[anese] by direct landing. Then can place them in certain spaces in opponent's path. Can also follow opponent's pcs. & send them back to start with direct hit. Object to reach center of island first. (Rough idea.)

GILLIGAN'S ISLAND (Game Gems) Board with multiple paths leading to various supply depots. A simple jig saw puzzle in a frame (similar to children's puzzle). Tokens & dice. The pcs. of the puzzle (which shows a ship) are mixed up and placed in equal piles in the supply depots on the board. Move a- round trying to land on a depot. When do, take top pc. when land on an empty depot, take a pc. from any player. When have pc. that can join to frame or another pc. down, play it and score one point for each added pc. Most points when sp ship is complete wins. (Rough idea.)
