<br>She rcd. [received] the check from A.H. (see 10/27). She asked if the <u>BALI</u>
report was on the one sent to me (no); it was lousy. One problem
is that A.H. is selling the game for $3.00 mail order while the
stores want $3.50. She doesn't blame them for not wanting to handle
the game under those circumstances.
Call from <u>Loren Dunton</u>. I apologized for not answering his letters
and acknowledging, and explained my problems. He understood.
<br>He is having a book published - on the aged - "The Vintage Years."
I asked how <u>KWATRO</u> was doing and he said quite well. It is being
licensed in the U.K. and Australia. He has gotten another
<u>GAME</u>, from someone else, that also plays in 5 minutes and he will
publish this too. If I have any 5 minute games he'd like to
see them. He will be coming to N.Y. in Jan. [January] He'll come here for supper
then and I'll show him what I have.
<br>I asked if he wants me to review <u>KWATRO</u>, and if so which
edition. He'll let me know when he is ready.
<br>He asked how I was doing and, among other things, I told him about
<u>BEYOND COMPETITION</u>. He said it sounded very interesting and I
told him that I'd send him a copy - to assuage my conscience.

had gotten <u>Bill Dohrmann</u>'s new title.
No. Told her about my visit with him on Monday (actually this
was in first call). She again said that I shouldn't let anyone
know that I was working for Parker for so little money. She said
