October 1977 - Friday 28
St. Simon and St. Jude Apostles - 301st day - 64 days to come
Letter from Phil Cohen. Mentioned BEYOND COMPETITION, SEARCH, RESCUE; GAMES, LINES OF ACTION, Claude, AGOG; BEYOND WORDS.
For P.E.G.S. wrote rules for "Hit & Run," "Spy Network," "Changes," "Tank Skirmish," and started "Soccer."
Visit from Rolland Borghini, for supper. Took his card.
He is definitely interested in doing SIDOMINOS - with a different
name. He is thinking of a completely abstract name - or possibly
NETWORK (the French translation - that is).
Gave him a copy of AGOG.
He was interested in a good game store; gave him "Games Gallery" card.
Showed him ANOTHER and we played one or two games. He liked it.
I'm to send him complete info - in a few weeks is O.K.
Showed him BAZAAR, TOTALLY, and TRANSFORMATION - not much interest.
He is putting out a game by Jean-Jacques Bloch - SAVE YOUR HEAD.
(cont. from 10/29) [10/29]
has a book of "Tigo" puzzles.
Ronnie has seen good displays of all my "Beyond" books.
Made a date for 11/25, about 4 P.M. unless they know of some
bazaars, garage sales, etc.
Ronnie got together with the editor at "Bantom Books." The
editor didn't know what he wanted, but something may come
of it after he digests the material Ronnie brought him.
