With BB to "Leisure Learning" in Greenwich Conn. Said hello
to Richard Bendett who was preparing to go to N.Y. with
a promotion. Then spoke to Stephanie Urdang who is his partner
in the business. They started as a retail store and a

Learning Center" (She gave me a flyer describing this aspect).

This year they have expanded into importing OrDa games and
acting as wholesalers. They are working with OrDa, however,
in clarifying rules, changing names, etc. and their name is
on the package.
We went over their games and I took the following:
SEEJEH ($7.95); THE GREAT PERCEPTION GAME (previously
called LOGICON) ($5.95); ARROWS - with new rules, and
an article on the game from "Research in Rehovot" ($4.95);
TAKE-ALL - with new rules in the box and superceded rules
on the box bottom ($3.95); Q-SETS ($5.95) - eventually the
name will be changed to COLOR-SETS, but she said to use
the other name in my review; FUNSPELL ($5.95) (This was
previously called SPELLBOUND); THINK AHEAD (previously called
MATTIX) ($5.95); NUMBER-RINGS (previously
called NUMBA-RINGS) ($6.95) - have rules for under each name.
I noticed that they gave 4-7-3 as an example of a first turn, but
this is impossible under the rules. Pointed that out to Stephanie and
she told Bendett.); LET ME THINK ($5.95). These are for review.
I noticed a game INFLUENCe, also by OrDa. She said that they
weren't going to handle this, at least for the present, but that
I could borrow a copy. I noticed a $2 price on it, which she
said was for a "sidewalk sale". I offered to buy it, but she said
that I could keep it. She's like my opinion on it.
