Started working on a game - tentative name <u>TWISTS 'N' TURNS</u> - that started
percolating on 8/15 in my conversation with <u>Felicia</u> - her telling
me about her meeting with <u>Stan Harfenist</u>. Made 6 pcs. [pieces] out
of a total of 48 I will work with.
Call from <u>Joe Pascal</u>. He asked if I had written a review of
<u>DEFEND YOUR CAPITAL</u> yet. Told him that I had looked at it quickly
and might have some questions, but would have to look at it more
carefully before I was sure. Told him I'd probably get a chance to
play it by Labor Day. He'd like to see any review I do before I
use it. | |||
<br>A long article in <u>THE PATENT TRADER</u> was devoted completely to
<u>DEFEND YOUR CAPITAL</u>. He told them about me and they may contact
me about doing an article on me. He is sending me a repro [reproduction]
of the article on his game.
<br>He mentioned seeing an ad for <u>CODE NAME: SECTOR</u> in yesterday's <u>TIMES</u>.
(I am pretty sure it was this, tho he didn't remember the name.
<br> I gave him info on <u>GAMES</u> Mag. [magazine] and <u>SIMULATION/GAMING</u>
and <u>Bernie DeKoven</u>.
<br>He said that he had checked and what he told me on 8/10 about donating my
collection was correct.
Started a final board for <u>CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY</u>.
After inking the lines discovered that I had made a
mistake and had to start over.
Helene & <u>Art Bernstein</u> here in evening (bringing chocolate chip
cookies). They looked at my collection, but Art decided that he
didn't want to learn <u>PATTON & MACARTHUR</u>. After listening a
little to the record we played a little <u>TOTALLY</u>. They liked it.
<br>Art brought a copy of the rules to <u>WEEKEND IN VEGAS</u> and asked me to change
them so that the actual amount of each color chip is not given.
He wants to supply chips by weight (from a mixture?) instead of
by counting each color. In a few weeks is O.K.
<br>In connection with their new capacity for printing any kind of
dice cubes, he has been thinking of putting out some original
<br>(cont. on 8/21) | |||
