Postcard from Tom Atwater. "No sales" report from Stancraft.
He's trying to get TRANSFORMATION back , but slow
going. Asked about the games I was getting ready for
him. He will be sending me some GAME rules for comment.

Rcd. THE GENERAL (Vol. 11, No. 2). Mention that rules for
STALINGRAD, WATERLOO, AFRIKA CORPS, and BLITZKRIEG will
be revised: the last one being a major revision. Further mention
of THIRD REICH, PANZER LEADER, and 1776.
Articles on STALINGRAD, FRANCE 1940, WATERLOO, LUFTWAFFE.

Call from Phil Orbanes to confirm our date Monday.
Call from Bob Gellman/ Read me his letter on MACARTHUR. (See 8/8.)
Call from Bob Champer. Told him that things look fairly
encouraging on PATTON and MACARTHUR. He'll read up on
WASHINGTON and call me at the beginning of Sept.

Wrote up IMPERIALISM and GAMBIT for column.

Rcd. carton from R.G.I. with 6 - MACARTHUR, 5 - PATTON,
and 1 - WEEKEND IN VEGAS (all bookshelf or "Library"
Editions).

Played a few games of THERMOPYLAE, by myself and with BB.
Not bad.
