21 SUNDAY * JULY 1974
SEVENTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST * 202ND DAY * 163 DAYS TO COME
Wrote to Steve Wilson (see 7/3). Sent him my reviews of
ORION and SLEUTH and told him that he'd have to pay
if he wanted the other columns.
Wrote to Lou Zocchi. Mentioned ALIEN SPACE, PATTON, MACARTHUR.
Wrote to Robert St. Cyr of "Explorations Inc." Sent Marvin Kaye's
address and telephone number. Mentioned BIGWIG and suggested
that he contact me when he is ready to expand his line.
Inked in the board for THE GOOD EARTH and made a new set
of cards - rough but usable.
Called Bob the number that Bob Champer gave me. Told
his grandmother (I believe) that it was important that he
call me.
(Cont. from 7/22) [7/22]
that take it, Gamut of Games will be given an initial order
of 25,000 copies and I will get 2¢ a copy.
Phil and I will both watch the program this coming Friday
and will talk about the game next Monday.
We will also talk about THE THIRD REICH next Monday.
Went up to his office and spoke to Bob Reiss. He said to
take whatever games I wanted and I took the following (all I
could carry at the time): PONENTS, XAVIERA'S GAME, COMPATABILITY,
and 1776.
Stopped at S.P.I. Everyone at a party for Howie Barasch's birthday
so just took three copies of S & T #45 and left.
The centerfold game is OPERATION OLYMPIC. Ad for STARFORCE: ALPHA CU
STARFORCE: ALPHA CENTAURI, and an article on science fiction - or
rather a series group of articles. Notes on SEELOWE,
WORLD WAR II, WAR IN THE EAST.
Earlier in the day I stopped at Bloomindale's to see if they
had the game ZZIZZ - no. They had a number of the Itemation
games marked down to $3.95 (I think). Included were
SET POINT, SUPERGROUP, and STAMP COLLECTORS GAME.
Brentano's had their ENERGY CRISIS GAME marked down from
$10 to $5.
Call from Claude. Wald will be at Claude's tomorrow to
test his Cartel GAME and he'd like me to come. Said that
I'd try, but probably I couldn't.
