rules and liked the games. He picked up one small point in the PAYOFF rules that was unclear.

Phil had Wexo leave and we discussed my future with "Gamut of Games." He thinks that there will be so much work that it only a question of whether I can handle it all or it he will have to get others in. (This will be left to decide later.) Among the things that are, or may be in the works:

- REALM. He wants me to make sure that I have eliminated the sure win for one player or the other in "Classic" and rewrite that part of the rules.

- INFINITY. He has been getting some complaints, particularly about the 5 special tiles at the beginning of the game. He'd like me to streamline that and anything else I can.

- THE THIRD REICH. Phil once spoke to A.H. [Avalon Hill] about doing a game on this but they didn't come to any conclusions. Now he hears that A.H. [Avalon Hill] is working on a game with this name. He'd like to come out with one ahead of them and get the trademark. HE has it partially worked out, based on his CONFRONTATION. He wants me to get it into shape - sharing the royalties. Made date for next Monday at 1 for me to look at it. I suggested my looking at the art work on the 6 p&p games at the same time. He'll try to have it by then; or he'll call me and postpone our meeting until Tuesday.

- DEALER'S CHOICE. Marty Kornblum has a connection with the producers of the TV show. Bob Reiss originally was supposed to market a game based on the show for them. But now it is possible that "Gamut of Games" may produce the game and Reiss will be cut out altogether - and he's uptight over this. they TV people have worked out their own retail game but I may be called in as a consultant if any improvement is needed.

- 6 MILLION DOLLAR MAN - He is going to Boston to talk to a cereal company about doing a game based on this TV show. If anything develops he will talk to me about it.

- THE GOOD EARTH - They have gotten good quotes on a [drawing of the mold described below] molding 1 1/4" square with a "barn" abt 2 3/4" square in the center. I'll have to make my board this size. Phil needs my preliminary model no later than 7/25.

- John Wexo has a lot of connections for producing GAMES for magazines to produce under their name. When these develop, I will be involved. (John's field is writing copy for direct mail advertising.)

When I spoke to Jim Dunnigan he said that he hears that "Gamut of Games" is coming out with 5 new games this year. I told him that what he probably hears about is the 6 p&p games.
