Rcd. letter from Robert St. Cyr of "Explorations" mentioning Marvin Kaye and my keeping them in mind for new inventions. Enclosed new rules for BIGWIG, 8 information cards, and a glossy. (Placed all except letter in box with game.

Call from Wald about the Hasbro deal. He didn't agree with Claude's idea of each of us doing different games and submitting a number on each topic. He also would just as soon not have me in on a full partnership. I suggested my looking at the two games after he and Claude finished them and then giving any ideas I have for improvements - and leaving it up to them what I should get. He approved. He said he wants me to be satisfied so that I'll work with them when other things come up.

He said that he intends to look around for other contacts. The use of my name came up and I said that, because of Felicia I couldn't have him mentioning me as a partner - which I'm not. For my contacts that are not regular game companies - and he has some ideas in this direction he will say that I am available as a "consultant" for them.

Claude originally wanted the business set up only in Wald's name, which was agreeable to Wald, and Wald to got [get] an extra 10%. Then Claude said he'd like the experience of being in business.

I asked about Wexler and Wald is waiting for word on the games that are being shown. Wexler is also trying out some contacts outside of the regular game companies. Wald was not happy with ESQUIRE's presentation of DRAGON. Wrote letter to Alister MacIntyre.
