17 MONDAY - JUNE 1974 BUNKER HILL DAY (BOSTON) - 168TH DAY - 197 DAYS TO COME

Call from Felicia. Kathy Brooks contacted her to say that the SKYSCRAPERS model was found and they are con- sidering it.

However the package that she sent to Aladdin on 6/3, UPS, apparently didn't arrive yet. It contains SPACE BOXES, FOREIGN INTRIGUE and TOTALLY. The later package with all the rest reached them. They will look around to see if it was misplaced there and let her know.

She is still worried about whether she should return ESPIONAGE - the inventor sent $10 for postage. The inventor had wanted me to work on improving it, but when I looked it over I decided that it was about as good as it could be, without my coming up with an entirely new idea.

Call from someone at ESQUIRE. Barbara Heine wanted my address so that she can sent me the July issue.

While looking at S&T #44 noticed that there is an "expansion kit" for TANK! which readers can send for free.

Wrote to Janusz Weychert (see 5/7). Mentioned Lech Pijanowski. EXECUTIVE DECISION, PLOY, VENURE, SLEUTH, GAMES WITH PENCIL & PAPER, S&T, THE PROPAGANDA GAME, and I MURI.

At Art Center in Mt. Vernon bought cover paper for my drafting table, cardboard, and a △ and ◇ template. (Got 10% professional discount.)

Started a new layout for KLEE.

Rcd. a call from [bracket drawn] Robert Herzog [bracket drawn] 475-2178 -- Jim Dunnigan gave him my number. He is a game inventor and wants to know how to sell them. He has an educational GAME which I told him I would not be able to help him with. Among his commercial ideas the one that sounds most promising is a Karate GAME. Told him about Felicia. Made date for him to show me his stuff here on Wednesday.

Called Claude and spoke to Anne. Wald kept after Hasbro and contacted a new man. He and Claude are going there Wednesday morning. They rcd. a letter from Earl. Nothing on games.
