I returned to him Monday. Also to tell him that the rules
| |||
for SIDETRACK made no sense. Supposed to call me back, but didn't.
Started S & T column. Wrote up PURSUIT, with some suggested
| |||
improvements, and started SHIFTY CHECKERS - most of it actually.
| |||
Called Howard Wexler to ask if he wanted his name mentioned
| |||
as the inventor of CONNECT FOUR. Yes. He'd like a tear
| |||
sheet of the column.
| |||
Asked him if there is any special project he'd like to talk to
| |||
me about. No. I'll call about getting together when I am more caught up.
Call from Claude about our Monday date. He also called
| |||
Wexler today. Wexler refused to tell Claude who was looking
| |||
at his games. Claude complained about the length of time and
| |||
Wexler said that he should have at least two years to show
| |||
a game and if Claude objected he could take all of his games
| |||
back. Claude said O.K. I will and Wexler was surprised.
| |||
He said that the "Coffee Break Line" was being considered
| |||
and he couldn't return those. Claude also said that they
| |||
should have things in writing and Wexler said that he always
| |||
works on a "handshake". They left things up in the air. |
