22 WEDNESDAY - MAY 1974
142ND DAY - 223 DAYS TO COME

To Felicia's. Not in. Signed the three 3M contracts (see 5/18) and
dropped 2 thru the slot.

To Stationary Show.
- Croita. In book this was listed "New board games of shill, strategy
& chance" but there was noone at the spot listed. Went to office
but they had no info. Their address is 419 North Cayuga St.,
Ithaca, N.Y. 14850 - (607) 273-3683.

- House of Games. Spoke to Alfons Rubbens and he apologized for not
returning HOLEY TERROR. He said he would get to it as soon as possible.
Earl Doherty left because of a reoccurrence of a back injury.
Alfons tried to give him work to do at home but he doesn't seem able
to concentrate. I asked Alfons about MULTIOPSANY, He didn't actually see
it but he knows that the one who put it out is inept, and it is
off the market already.
He was putting the contents of an EXORCISM game (Playwrite)
in his suitcase and I took the empty box. I also asked about an
extra copy of 4000 A.D.. They He gave me the box, board and
rules that they had on display, but the pcs. were missing.
- Gamekeepers. Jerry Brown had left yesterday. The woman with
ANTI-MONOPOLY said that her husband was short of copies and that
I should write to him and she'll see that I get a copy. Took a card.

Looked at the rules. There are about
12 different sets of three spaces
of the same color, representing
monopoly situations in an industry.
Some colors have chips spaces for 1 chip, some for 2, and some for three. Players
put a chip when they land in a space. After a certain amount are
placed by a player in a group he takes control of it and the others
are removed - they collect half price. After a player gets control
of the "anti-trust action" the others pay for each time they land.
An advanced version allows for trading of chip positions. (Very rough idea.)
- Playwrite. Took a copy of EXORCISM. List price $9.00.

- Four Generations. Took another copy of the catalog, not realizing
that I took 2 Monday.
- 3M. Met Keith Tuggle and he was talking to two people with a
buyers badge "Strategy House, Vt." When he finished he told me that
they were the publishers of CROSSTALK and CROSSWALK (see '71).
They are interested in having them put out as p&p games (??)
in the 3M line. But they necessitate different printing of
each sheet and that is just too expensive.
He took me to lunch at Howard Johnson. Looked at NO WAY
and he solved one, with some help from me. Seemed to like it.
He mentioned that he would like to have sport's games for the
p&p games, but several other inventors have been told.
Incidentally he took NO WAY and he'll send a disclosure form for
Felicia to sign.
They have 3 word games that they like for the p&p line, and
they haven't looked at SUPERGHOSTS yet. He doesn't know how many
word games the line can take.
