TIME Magazine had a piece on ANTI-MONOPOLY (filed
in '73 Misc.)

Sent card-letter to Don Miller. Mentioned STRATEGY 1,
PHALANX, DARK AGES, MOVES, and THE GAMESLETTER.
Call from Wald. He'd like to get into NYGA meetings again. Told
him that Bob Abbott offered his apartment.

Hasbro has closed down for 2 months for lack of plastic. But it they will be showing BALANCE OF POWER at Toy Fair. They liked the original idea of a balancing board but couldn't get - a Game then liked using it. So this game will be on a

flat board. They are still working on using the balancing board and if they come up with it wald will get royalties ton both At Toy Fair they will also be coming out with the games that N.Y.G.A came up with last year- BLUE CHIPS THE SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD , etc. Wald is working with Wexlero, nather than strongina Wexler va has more imagination in preparing models than strongina does, Also Wexler seems to get along better with the format na Anyan companies, such as Panken and M.B. un Wald brought THREE, LOTUS, DRAGON and AFRICAN CHESS to Wexler who made up some beautiful models for them con rather his artist did). He wants to call the latter MANCALA. I asked and Wald said he was splitting 50-50 with Wexler. When he asked about a better arrangement Wexler said he was at making up games of his own so why should he push Wald's if he doesn't make anything on them. Would agreed, I told wald A of what wexler offered Claude, He thought it was ridiculous. tu starting a letter to Allisten Wm. Macintyre. I wanted to ander task for his game NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION and decided
to look at Loomis' NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION. Went crazy trying
to find it and finally located it among a pile of letters
to be filed.
