323RD DAY - 42 DAYS TO COME
Answered Haar Hoolim's letters of 9/25 and 11/8 (but later
discovered one dated 7/19 that I didn't answer). Gave some ideas on
his game. Mentioned ON GUARD, BITSBITSBITS, SPECTRUM, TOPOLOGIK, CONTACTIC.
Went over the p & p games in connection with Phil's call of 11/16.
Prepared a list of the games (see 11/21).
Edith told BB that she had picked up a copy of EQUATIONS for
me at a bazaar. Since I already have a copy she'll see if her daughter wants it.
Called Claude and spoke to Anne. He called me back. He told me
of some games he has seen mentioned in newspapers. I knew
about them.
Claude has spoken to Wald. Wald mentioned that "Wexler" is
a nice guy but didn't go into details. In a previous
conversation Claude told me that he had visited Wexler, upon
an invite. Wexler has split with Strongin and is now working on
his own. He want's to handle Claude's games but wants
the lion's share.
