Call from Felicia. She rcd. 6 copies each of FITTING & PROPER,
THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS, and CUBITS. She gave copies to
Leonard Willett and, because of the way they were packed, by
mistake gave him two of each instead of one. She has to give
copies to Diane Hirsch (spelling?) of Time Inc. and has to keep
a copy herself. She said she could give me two each of my
own and one CUBITS. She wrote to Burt Huber asking if he
was sending samples to the inventors. (I recollect that he
had said that she would get them all.)
She is returning INFERNAL BINARY MACHINE to its inventor.
(I thought she did it a long time ago.)
D.D.I. is interest[ed] in SIJJEH (I saw a mock up of a box they
prepared for it last time I was there) but they would like her
to write the copy for the box. She won't unless somebody pays her.
Sol Cohen of ChildCraft saw a lot of her children's items and
liked them. But because of shortages in paper and plastic
he can't considered [consider] putting them out. Because of prior
connections the only thing they can get readily is wood.
I suggested my taking back 3D BOXES someday next week to work
on a variation with colored pieces. She wants to keep it in the
office in case Jack Barry and another man from Owens-Illinois
come in on short notice. If I don't have the variation
ready she'll just tell them I can do it.
Robert Dorman (see 10/1) expected her to manufacture
EXECUTIVE CORRIDORS, CAREER PATHS, and THE BUSINESS/INDUSTRIAL BOSS.
She'll tell him to take his things!
G. & R. told her again that they don't see any results from my
S & T column. Told her that others have.

Claude showed me a book - "Ed McMahon's
Barside Companion" which had, amog other
 things, a game called CIRCLE TIC-TAC-TOE.
The field is as shown, with 2 winning lines
of 4 indicated.
