Call from Felicia. She spoke to Kohner and they were interested in getting SHAPE AND SHATTER and ECLIPSE as soon as possible. Told her Tuesday. She won't be in then, but I'll bring them to the office at 200 Fifth.
Told her that we were going with Claude and Anne for a two day trip to Providence and Newport.

In Brown University in Providence looked at the library. Then had a book game listed - UNCLE TOM'S CABIN CARD GAME by Stowe, Mrs. Harriet Elizabeth (Beecher) - Providence - ? - 20 cards, 9 cm. It was in a different library that wasn't open.
Looked at a few other things, but nothing of interest.
In a bookstore saw a book called 500 GAMES by Harper & Rowe or some such publisher. Nothing new in it.
At some bookstores BB got a package of books including "Mad Recycled." It had a reprint of their satiric article on games. Games included: NIELSEN RATING, PLANNED OBSOLENSCENCE, RUSH HOUR, SERVICE STATION, INCOME TAX, UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE, and WELFARE CHECK, AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL, GENERAL PRACTITIONER, PROFESSIONAL POLITICIAN, BUTTON DOWN! (Tore out - filed in '73 Misc.)
Claude bought a book REALITY GAMES another psychological book.
In motel room tried out some ideas for SHAPE AND SHATTER game. Didn't work out.

Before leaving on trip rcd. [received] a letter from Bob Gellman with my list of places to send PATTON and HOLIDAY returned, with a note that he had sent them all.
