16 Sunday - September 1973
Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost - 259th day - 106 days to come
Looked in my files for I-QUBES. Couldn't find it, but I'm pretty sure that KLIX is the same game.
Packaged PUSHOVER and THE 31ST HEX in homemade boxes. Copied 13 solutions - one for each type of hex - and included them with the latter.
Redid 3 pcs. [pieces] for the 18 pc. GAME that I had originally done wrong. By myself tried out my idea of last night. Not good. Another possibility: Each player (or team when four play) has his own symbol. Score for sequences, but own symbol counts double. A simpler device for breaking up the pattern would be to make it required that a pc. must (once 2 have been placed) touch two pcs. already down.
Call from Wald. He is back from California. He asked about the NYGA meeting. He would like me to set up another. Said I would as soon as I get the chance.
BB typed the SLEUTH & PLOY reviews. Mailed them with short letter.

Hallmark. The latter was as I had originally sent it. The
former was in a new box, with new equipment and new
rules. Took it with me to check.
Felicia heard from Bob Johnson that the TOTALLY-- model
had been sent to their foreign dept. [department] But he caught it in time

Felicia gave me the HONORABLE RELATIONS rules she rcd. [received] from
Burt Huber.
She [illegible crossed out] showed me a game called FILIBUSTER that she was
returned to its inventor. It is a MONOPOLY knock off. Players
move around edge of board. When land on a bill the first time
take it for a payment of "votes" or put it up for auction.
When others land on your bill must pay you votes. If
have more than one bill of a similar nature collect more.
(Rough idea).
Took rules of CORNER-THE-MARKET to read and return to
her. She didn't have the playing equip't, since she told the
inventor to hold off with sending them.
She is returning URBAN RENEWAL to its inventor.
When she saw Gary Sherbell she refused to handle
CHESS WITHOUT TEARS (why?). She wanted him to take back
TORTS - THE GAME OF SUIT AND COUNTERSUIT, but he begged her
to keep it and she did.
She had a date with Jack Barry of Owens-Illinois. She
drove there with the inventor of the GAME with lights (which
I never got any details of). He liked it and kept it. He
