book <u>GAMES WITH PENCIL & PAPER</u>. The field (I believe)
is 9x9. 4 play - the one who makes the rule and three
others, known as A, B, and C. The rule states where
A's, B's, and C's can be placed. (Two samples - 1) Any
letter can be placed a knight's move away from the
last placed letter. 2) The letters are arranged in a spiral.)
Players in turn ask if they can put their letter in a
specific space. If yes they do so and score one point on
a scoring area on their side of the "board." The
designer scores one point for each question - whether right
or wrong, up to a certain maximum after which the
score drops off one point for each question until a player
guesses the rule.
<br>Bob's publisher wrote the publisher of
<u>GAMES WITH PENCIL & PAPER</u> asking them to remove <u>ELEUSIS</u>.
<br>Played <u>KGB</u>. The first game was over very quickly when Earl made
a wrong accusation. Played a second game which Earl won by
catching Bob.
<br>Played <u>NETRESULTS</u>, three sets of two partners. Bob Felice and
another fellow wanted to join us. Felice was my partner and
disappeared soon after the start.
