Met <u>Claude</u> and <u>Wald</u> at Tad's. Then to Simulations. Introduced  <br>
Wald to <u>Jim Dunnigan</u> for a moment. Spent most of the time  <br>
talking in <u>Red</u>'s office. I was sleepy. Red gave Wald a copy  <br>
of <u>NAPOLEON AT WATERLOO</u> which he and Claude were going to play. Then Wald decided not to, but kept the game. Claude and Wald  <br>
to "Charlie's Game House" - formerly "House of Games" - to play <u>GO</u>.  <br>
I went home.  <br>
Claude gave Wald and me each a large plastic map of the world.

ran about two days more than three weeks, for a total  <br>
of 136 hours or $1,360. He said fine. I sent a bill  <br>
for that amount.
Called <u>Claude</u> to tell him I couldn't change date to Friday. He'll  <br>
be there about 6:45. I called <u>Arthur</u> to tell him, and that  <br>
I'd be there about 6:30.
<u>Stan Chess</u> mentioned that he had given <u>George Bredehorn</u>  <br>
an assignment to do a game <u>FOURPLAY</u>. He came up with a simple  <br>
gambling game. There is a square array with 50 [cents] in the  <br>
center. 4 - 25 [cents] two spaces around it. Some 10 [cents] outside this
and then more 5 [cents] at the outer edge. Players move with throw of 1 die  <br>
and can make one right angle turn. Pick up "coi" when land  <br>
on space. After 50 and 25's are gone 10's double their value. After  <br>
10's are gone first back to start takes all remaining 5's.
