(Played about an hour, but the Genius made the rest of  <br>
the play incidental. Discussed ways of remedying this, including  <br>
a betting limit to ordinary bets which is waived when  <br>
a player meets the Genius. Claude and I still weren't  <br>
thrilled with the game.  <br>
Played <u>THE BRAIN GAME</u>. Played until 6 companies (out of the  <br>
9 exposed) were taken. Played in about an hour. Claude  <br>
said he'd like to play it again. Arthur said that because of  <br>
his eyes he had trouble seeing the cards. Wald said that  <br>
there was nothing new in the game (and I pointed out all  <br>
that was). Claude suggested adding personality to the  <br>
game by making the President's different, each one calling  <br>
for some change in staff. (This was a step in the direction of  <br>
<u>CINEMA</u>, which I don't want to do.) Wald suggested a greater  <br>
spread between the lowest and highest numbers and I think  <br>
I'll change from a 17 top to a 25 top. (Started with $100,000).  <br>
Played around with Claude's<u>UPSTAGE</u>. He introduced a new  <br>
feature. Instead of just placing the pcs. there are  <br>
four discs for each player. At first these were placed  <br>
in the 2 x 2 area of each player's cornre (see 2/17 for  <br>
board - tho his new one may be somewhat different). They  <br>
