of theirs I exhibited
of theirs I exhibited at Xerox. I'll go there Thursday to
get review copies of the new games. // Took catalog.
Met Gini Scott and made a date for supper here tomorrow. She
would like a copy of SLEUTH and I told her I'd try to get one for her.
he has 12 games coming out with a new company, whose name
she can't tell me. But when they come out this summer she'll see that
I get copies (but she'll be travelling all summer). Not all of the
games are original but she'll get royalties on the traditional ones too.
Met Phil Orbanes and then we went to see Bill Knox at the Reiss
exhibit. He said that he will be doing GROOVE to come out next January.
He'll send a contract. Also he'll send back my HOLEY TERROR and Phil's
PYRAMID PUZZLE.
(Eventually) took 3 copies of the Mag-Nif folder. New are : - REX,
a variation of 3D TIC TAC TOE. place the 27 boards one at a time.
Score one point for each straight line of 3. Also1 point for each
triangle using 3 pegs in the same position, either in one level or
tilted; TORUS in the folder (called TORRIS on box); RUNNING WILD
(a novelty); THIRD DIMENSION and TUT'S TOMB (Assembly puzzles);
DROP OUT ($1.25 version of LABYRINTH; SCORE 3 (2 hand game).
Met Dorothy Shapiro and Henry Levy a moment at Reiss.
To American Greetings. There were prototypes for 10 games displayed
but no one there who could tell me about them. The ones to see are
Morry Weiss or David gamble. Got an add sheet with the following : -
DEADLOCK, LINKUP, CONTROLLING INTEREST, CHESS N' CHECKERS, POUNCE,
FAIR SHAKE, BROKEN ENGLISH, UPON-MY-WORD, DE-TOUR, NIX.
Back to R.G.I. Bob Gellman said that Doubleday is starting a
mail-order service in games. They are including MOVIE MOGULS and will
probably include HOLIDAY when it is ready. They have a mailing list of 1,000,000.
To G & R. Told them all the games of theirs I exhibited at Xerox and they
were pleased. Their new things didn't look too interesting and I'll look at
them some other time. Frank Armbruster is not coming in.
