From Pantheon red, a transmitted letter from an AGOG reader asking where to buy HAAR HOOLIM PERCEPTION GAMES.
Made a model of DIALEMMA with wood and pegs made from plastic toothpicks. Also put extensions on the hands in different places for the different colors.
Brought a NINE OF SWORDS to the Sternbergs. They and the other guests were interested in it. Also brought DIALEMMA which was tried a little with-out success. Brought LOTTERY and equipment for ISOLATION but we didn't play.
When getting the NINE OF SWORDS to bring I found that two copies had broken swords, 1 in each, BB's friend Edith would like a copy to give her daughter, I told BB, o.k. Looked at the rules of LAWSUIT and probably will offer to redo them.
(cont. from 12/17) [12/17]
One die in one direction and the other at right anglus. Decided against both of these. However thought of having a board as shown. Players move from r left to right and then drop to the next row. This would make it a lot easier to see who has what. Cards Are decided to would be drawn when a player lands on a city. Another thought, since doubles are too frequent with the new dice, have the players throw the three dice. Have one of the blank faces on the third die read "buy." When this is thrown the player can buy the office landed on for $1000 times the product of the other two dice. Another thought. Instead of every player starting in one place, let them pick their city so that one doesn't have to follow directly behind another.
Finished my letter to Pierre Berloguin. Mentioned S&T, ORIGINS OF WORLD WAR II, LE LIVRE DES JEUX, BIG FUNERAL, WATCH, LE ZIP, LE PANTAMINO, and LE MONDE DES AFFAIRES. (BB typed this and yesterday's letter.)
