At a bazaar in Teaneck met Mrs. Riedel (of G. & R.). She
had contributed a large number of Frank Armbruster's
TASMANIA puzzles and they were selling at 1 [cent] each. Bought
25.
In a N.J. paper clipped an ad for two games from
"2 Guys" - MAGNETIC MOON RACE, >u>PASS THE BUCK ($.99 reduced
from $2.49). ('71 Ad Clips.)
In N.Y. TIMES clipped ad for KNOW IT ALL, a fortune telling
deck of cards. ('71 Ad Clips.)
In TIMES book review section saw the following mentions :

THE FICTIONARY GAME, even if he gives me the idea he wants
me to have the royalties as long as I do the details.
I told him that I am sure that I can come up with a
lot of games for pencil & paper. I suggested my
SOLITAIRE DICE with 5 inexpensive dice in the package. Then
I thought of including pencils.
Bob is enthusiastic about a card GAME based on "Nostalgia"
by Phil Orbanes. Each card has connections to several other
[illegible crossed out] cards, such as Lou Gehrig to Babe Ruth
Bob advertised in his local paper for a researcher to work out
the connections and found a professor who is interested
in "trivia". Before this he gave Phil about $200 to buy
books for preliminary research. (Now they both want the books.)
Bob thinks Gini Scott's NOSTALGIA is a bomb. In fact he
thinks she bats everything out too fast. I asked about her
GANG TANGLE and he has pretty much lost enthusiasm for it.
He took me for lunch in a fancy Chinese restaurant and
we discussed the game field in general and working together
in particular.
