letter from <u>Colin Haycraft</u> of Gerald Duckworth and had it  <br>
sent to contract dept., together with a note saying that  <br>
it is his understanding the Random House has lost their  <br>
rights to British publication of <u>AGOG</u>. He will contact me  <br>
as soon as he hears anything so that I can write to  <br>
Colin Haycraft.  <br>
We discussed the sale of <u>AGOG</u> and I said that I wasn't  <br>
angry at Random House. He said I should be.  <br>
Talked about my doing a book on children's games. Now he  <br>
specifies 8 to 10 years old. Told him I'd think about it and  <br>
then, after the New Year, contact him with definite proposals.
At Brentano's didn't find <u>Dorothy Shapiro</u> there, but left  <br>
copies of ''<u>S & T</u>'' #26 and #28, together with a note asking  <br>
her to contact me if she wants more.
