There are about 14 dice representing different  <br>
clubs. The six faces have different distances  <br>
marked on them. The player chooses one and  <br>
"addresses" the ball, that is, says the direction  <br>
including diagonal, that he is driving the  <br>
ball. He throws the die, together with another die,  <br>
this one having the following faces: Hook 20 yds., Hook 40 yds.,  <br>
Slice 20 yds., Slice 40yds., Blank, Blank. When on the green  <br>
there are "putter" dice <s>depen</s> the one to be used depending  <br>
on the distance from the hole at the time. (Rough idea.)  <br>
<u>Claude</u> visited me. Got me to open up the cards from a  <br>
<u>SLEUTH</u> set to attract attention, but it didn't do much good.  <br>
Claude brought me the book <u>CHICAGO BRIDGE</u>.  <br>
