SATURDAY 2 OCTOBER 1971
275th day - 90 days to come

Rcd. a clipping, sent to me by Paul Slotkin, from the
WALL STREET JOURNAL of Sept. 30, 1971. In the "Business
Bulletin" column the following items appeared:
A new game called FEDS 'N' HEADS gets off to a fast but
controversial start. The board game pits the marijuana seekers against
narcotics agents. Rathcon Inc., which is marketing the game with
Playboy Enterprises, says it has sold 10,000 in less than a month. But Jordan Marsh department store in Miami took the game off
the shelves because customers complained.

Rcd. 1 answers to SLEUTH problem.

Rcd. a letter from an AGOG reader who is a "game nut"
and would like to invent games.

In Venice bought a game in booklet form called GIOCO DEL CALCIO
(for 200 Lire). Also packaged is a soccer field and cuttou
cut out men.

In a big toy store saw BAZAAR. Also saw VENTO FORZA 6
and saw that it was the same as LES CORSAIRES, which I
bought in Paris.

him that he hadn't sent me the latter two. He said he would.
He asked me about my opinion of 97 and I said that I
didn't think it was outstanding. But in my review I describe
the game factually, not believing it is fair to give my personal preferences.
