MONDAY 13 SEPTEMBER 1971
256th day - 109 days to come

Rcd. a reproduced letter from F. Daniel. He is taking a "sab-
batical" from his order. No address given for contacting him.

Jed Gaines (Joel's brother) called me to get more information
about my INTERPLAY. Told him, again, that I didn't
particularly mind their using that name, but that I had
a funny feeling about their use of A GAMUT OF GAMES
(I think they use "The"). Didn't make too much of a point about it.

Sent a short postal note to Lech telling him the hotels
we'll be at in Rudesheim and London.
Also sent Lech a copy of PSYCHE-PATHS.

Rcd. a copy of EVADE from Jim Kraus. This one was in
playable condition. The one I got from Jack Davis had one
metal piece cut short.

Thinking of changing the purchasing of an opponent's office
with a double from $1000 x the number on one die to
$1000 x the number on the two dice. (Probably won't do it.)

Showed HOLEY TERROR to Dave Horn. he was able to solve
it after I gave him the hints.

Bernie Lane of Exhibition Management called and changed date
from tonight to tomorrow night.

Felicia wanted to ask Dan if he rcd. the copy of AGOG I sent
him, but he wasn't there.
MARLBORO COUNTRY was in pretty good condition.
Felicia gave me Connor's address. I told her I'd call him from
London if I can possibly find the time.

Bernard Lane and Seymour Robbins of Exhibition Management
here in the evening. Discussed my working with them
& Herb Siegel in an exhibition for Xerox, probably starting
in April of 1972. If they get approval from Xerox for the
project I'm to get them about 30 modern games. I'm also
to design a number of games that kids can participate
in. I'll go up to Rochester as a consultant for at least one
day. They will check with Xerox as to what they can
