Research Games seems like it is going into bankruptcy. Ken can  <br>
now get <u>MOVIE MOGULS</u> back according to his contract, and doesn't  <br>
know quite what to do. He wonders if he should contact Miss  <br>
Parker. I advised him that he probably could do as good a    <br>
job by himself in placing it with another company and he  <br>
could save the agent's fee. He should find it easier to place  <br>
since the art work is done and it has shown signs of success.  <br>
''<u>LOOK</u>'' Magazine had an offer for 7 Parker games (& puzzles)  <br>
for $20. Included are <u>MASTERPIECE</u>, <u>CAREERS</u>, <u>SCAN</u>, and <u>SOMA</u>.    <br>
He'll send me the clipping.  <br>
 
Called <u>Fabio</u> with idea of talking about the reprint of <u>AGOG</u>. He    <br>
is busy today and <u>Fay</u> will have him call me tomorrow or  <br>
next week. As far as she knows negotiations are still proceeding  <br>
with Castle.  <br>
Fay asked and I told her that I still hadn't rcd. any copies  <br>
of <u>AGOG</u>.
 
Trying out some ideas for a game, tentative name - <u>BEADS</u>.  <br>
A board is made up by attaching several segmants  <br>
together - see illustration for sample.

Each player has one chip of each color. These are started at one    <br>

available on his next turn simply expand the "word", postponing  <br>
removal to the next turn. A "word" scores the square    <br>
of its length. The cards are all returned to the table  <br>
and there can be duplicate cards on the table. In the    <br>
