SATURDAY 31 JULY 1971
212th day - 153 days to come
Rcd. the 2nd quarter check from 3M - $2,140.04. But there was
no statement breaking it down by games.
Rcd. THE FORUM (#2) - Simply a newsletter of NFFF Games Bureau new.
Called Felicia to tell her about the 3M check. She saw Dorothy Shapiro
of Brentano's. The The Sports Illustrated Football and
Baseball games are finally taking off.
Ordered the book YESTERDAY'S GAMES.
Felicia spoke about simple, timely games that are fun to
play. Remembered my game LOTTERY. Looked at it and I
think I can work it up to something good.
Thought of a PUZZLE idea. Have four posts with four
3 rods mounted on each so that they can pivot. At the
other end of each rod there is another hole. Object
to swing the rods so that they meet in groups of 3
so that 4 "bolts" can be dropped thru the meeting points.
For a much harder puzzle have the rods separate so that you
have to find the proper posts and order on the posts.

by the bank, even money if odd was picked, 2 for one if
even was picked (unless the player "dies" or lands on a town
belonging not his own). If the parity is correct and no death
or town is involved, the player can move again, leaving his wager
to accumulate, or may stop and collect his wager.
