Finished the definitions for <u>X-CHANGE-WORD</u> and BB started
typing them in the evening. Dana cut them and
stamped the letters on the backs.
Erased the guide lines from the <u>OPEN BRIDGE</u> cards while
getting the rules straight in my mind - for the first
time really.
Played a couple of hands with BB.

<u>NAPOLEON BONAPARTE</u> (P. - 1895). Path game. Winning or losing chips
according to spaces landed on. (Such as lose a lot at Waterloo)
when two players reach St. Helena the game is over and
most chips wins.
<u>LOST DIAMOND</u> (McLoughlin Bros. - 1877). [Herb will send copy
of rules.]
<u>TRIX</u> (Red & White - 1903) [Herb will send copy of rules.]
<u>THE GAME OF PANIC</u> (Panic Game Co. - 1903). Similar to <u>PIT</u>
[Herb will send copy of rules.]
<u>ZUM</u> (M.B. - N.D.). [Herb will send copy of rules.]
<u>CAMOUFLAGE</u>. [Herb will send copy of rules.]
<u>OORLOG</u> (Chaffee & Selchow - 1898). Seems to be a war game
played on a small paper board. [Herb will send copies of
rules and the board.]
<u>WORTHWHILE</u> (Geo. B. Doan & Co. - 1907). [Herb will send copy of rules.]
<u>SPECULATION</u> (P. - N.D.) Same as George Parker's original game,
<u>BANKING</u>, except that company cards are used instead of
letter cards. [Herb will send copy of rules.]
Herb showed me a book <u>''YESTERDAY'S GAMES''</u> - edited by Dr. Larry
Freeman. Published by Century House, Watkin's Glen, N.Y. (It
wasn't great, but I should have a copy for my collection. It
was published in 1970 and is currently available.)
Herb showed BB some "Meggendorfer Tab Books" (Movable-
action children's books) and asked her to keep an eye open
for them when we are in Europe.
Herb showed me an old McLoughlin Bros. catalog and one from
M.B. I picked out pages which he will copy for me.
Herb gave me the name and address of a fellow game collector
with an exceptionally good collection of McLoughlin Bros. games.

<u>THE AMERICAN EAGLE</u> (W. & S. B Ives - Herb said that this was
the second game published in U.S. - after <u>THE MANSION OF HAPPINESS</u>).

info on the board.
<u>THE BUGLE HORN</u> (McLoughlin Bros. - c. 1867). Took complete info.
<u>THE NEW MILITARY GAME</u> (G.W. Fisher - 1859). Took complete info.
<u>SOCIAL BROWNIES</u> ( (c) C.L. Sirrene -1894). Took copy (by BB) of
