Rcd. a letter
Rcd. a letter from <u>Tom Atwater</u>. He sent the <u>AIRLINE</u>  <br>
and <u>TRANSFORMATION</u> contracts to <u>Mary Hilt</u> the same  <br>
day he rcd. them.  He is calling her (4/13)  <br>
and will let me know if there are any difficulties.  <br>
He is still waiting for the final rules for <u>Alex</u>' game with  <br>
Entex. <u>THE !@#c&*! GAME</u>. He doesn't think, however, that  <br>
gaps in a line are permitted.    <br>
He sent me the rules for <u>TIC - TAC - TOTAL</u>, <u>AZTEC</u>  <br>
previously called <u>UP & DOWN</u>, and <u>SKULL ISLAND</u>. Also  <br>
a three-D <u>TIC - TAC - TOE</u> by Stewart Coffin the simply uses  <br>
28 cubes - no platform. So far the <u>GAME</u> is unnamed.
 
<u>Felicia</u> called. (Sue's father died suddenly and Felicia has been  <br>
helping out.  <br>
Someone (who?) at Hallmark told her last Thursday that they <br>
realized that it wasn't fair to hold up so many games for <br>
so long. On the 9th they were supposed to have a long meeting <br>
to determine which games they will return. <br>
They will be sending contracts for <u>TOTALLY</u> and <u>DUEL</u>. <br>
<u>TROMINO GO</u> is being returned. No word on <u>LIVE WIRE</u>. <br>
Felicia has been trying to get $500 as a closing fee. They <br>
said "no" on that but she thinks they may up the $250 somewhat. <br>
<u>Mary Hilt</u> said that she rcd. [illegible crossed out] <u>NOMINATION</u>, <u>CINEMA</u>,  <br>
<u>MARLBORO COUNTRY</u>, and <u>DANGER STAITS</u>, and that she'd try <br>
to have decisions on them within one week. (That was what Felicia <br>
meant when she told BB that Mary had worked so fast.) <br>
I forgot to ask about the status of <u>FOCUS</u> with Mary. <br>
3M is returning <u>WILD WOOD PILE</u>. It is too difficult and  <br>
frustrating and they would like it made easier. <br>
I asked Felicia if she thought we should try it with someone <br>
else. She thinks we had better go with 3M, since they need <br>
more puzzles. <br>
Told Felicia that I'd probably have <u>PLANES</u> ready to bring  <br>
her this coming Monday. But I'll call her first. <br>
Felicia said that a well known psychologist (I believe) <u>Dr. Frederich Flach</u>. <br>
had been directed to her. He left a game he calls <br>
<u>ENVIRONMENT</u> (which she'll show me when I came in) and he has <br>
others in the works. I asked how the game was and she <br>
said that he should stick to what he knows. <br>
