ation Service) came across a game, <u>TURTLE CAGE</u>. It is ident-  | |||
ical with <u>INDIAN CHESS</u>, before my change. They say it comes  | |||
from Shaowu, Fukien, China.  | |||
<u>Felicia</u> called in the evening. <u>Rael Cowan</u>, the inventor   | |||
of <u>BAFFLE</u> (now <u>COLOR CONFUSION</u>) was there with a new  | |||
game (later learned that the name was <u>ZEC</u>). She'd like me  | |||
to see it and give my opinion as to whether it was origin-  | |||
al enough to submit to X. Will go there Thursday at noon.  | |||
Sent a check for $3.50 to <u>Violet I. Gunther</u> for the old copy  | |||
of <u>TOURING</u>.  | |||
To Post Office and sent a copy of S&T to   | |||
Eric Naiburg ($20, with VECTOR review) and to Arthur  | |||
(#22). Sent registered letters to myself with the rules  | |||
for MANHATTAN MADNESS and FREE FORM. (The latter had  | |||
been opened by the burglars who broke in on 1/8.) [Mailed  | |||
