The DAILY NEWS had the following item: Wargaming Convention - A
nationwide convention in Wargaming, a board game of strategy similar
to CHESS, will be held at St. John's University's Jamaica campus on
July 11 and 12. The convention will include exhibits as well
as competitions with cash prizes awarded to Wargamers from all
over the United States.

BB went to MACHINE DESIGN Magazine. They were very pleasant &
let her look through the copies she wished. It is published twice
a month and she looked from October to December of 1969.
Couldn't find an article on me.

I called Mickie Mackay and then again when didn't she didn't call
back. She said that she'd hadn't gotten to her messages yet.
Told her of my call from Marvin Katz concerning the piece in
GRIT, and his interest in old games in my collection, She
was ready to send one of the sample sets (it is not in
production yet) to my office by messenger. She didn't have
a supply of STRATEGY POKER yet and we'll wait a week or
so and maybe she'll be able to send both.

Made a layout for my new puzzle TANGLED WEB or
ENTAGLING ALLIANCES. This shows the solution position
but doesn't give the non-solution colors on the strips.
