Call from Jerry Dougherty. Told me a little more about TWA and <u>GO SEE</u>.  The fellow there thinks it is a very unique concept, but feels that it might be necessary to simplifie it for promotional <s>purch</s> purposes. <br>

<s>Alex</s> Tom Atwater called to give me season's greetings. Alex got his advance for <u>Dōzo</u> and <u>ISHIDŌ</u>. They are having trouble with manufacturing one of them (which?) since it is made indentations, rather than holes. This is similar to <u>MEM</u> and Tom showed Holt an early model by Alex so that he wouldn't feel his idea had been stolen. <br>

Holt is depressed by the way <u>MEM</u> is going. He wants to rewrite the rules but Stellador just isn't doing anything about it. Nothing is happening with <u>MAGGIE</u>. They have dropped Gary & Reidell since they didn't seem to be doing anything. <br>

I asked about Hank Simmons. Tom said that their acquisition of CO-5, which is being merged with Lakeside, definitely puts them in the boxed game business, says Hank. He is looking for more. Told Tom a little about <u>COUNTERPOINT</u>. He'll try to get here soon to look at it, possibly next week. <br>
