Left work at 4. To Brentano's. Saw : - DYNASTY : - There is a large canvas board divided into 7 provinces, which are divided into a quadrille. Money is provided in the form of sacks of grain. There are various "realia" such as vases, scrolls, a palace, etc. There are 8 booklets, one for each of the 8 possible players. 1 is the emporer; 1 official; 1 scholar; 1 warlord; and 4 peasants of various types. The booklets give the personalities of the characters and they must act according to those personalities, such as the emporer must be aloof from peasants and even from the official; but he must have the general welfare of the people in mind, must tax but not too high & must construct public works. In each turn players must auction an article of "realia", but can set the starting price as high as they want.
| Left work at 4. To Brentano's.
