THURSDAY 6 NOVEMBER 1969
310th day - 55 days to come
Called Felicia to tell her about meeting Impact with Impact
communications next week.
Called Diane Jaust to tell her I rcd. and liked her material.
She has rcd. inquiries from : - Women's Wear Daily, both
the book reviewer and a columnist; HARPER'S BAZAAR;
COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY FORUM (A publication); Girl's Talk TV program;
TV Stations around the country asked if I would be going on a
tour - Random House doesn't plan to spend that kind of money.
Betty Hughes (the N.J. governor's wife) will feature the
book on her WCAU [?] program sometime in Dec.
Diane Jaust called me. John Wingate would like me on his Nov. 26th
radio program on WOR, but he wants to talk about war games
& who plays them. Reminded Diane that I was an editor on S & T.
Arlene Francis is interested in me . Nothing definite yet.
Picked up the desk tray set and also a 1970 game diary. In
evening placed a lot of the loose material in the trays.
Rcd. letters from Warren Buell - with info to use in DRILL FOR OIL.
Jared Johnson; Redpath of 3M - saying they were returning
SPELLBINDER.
BB mailed a copy of A GAMUT OF GAMES to Fay. I signed one for
Aunt Bertha which Morris will pick up tomorrow.
