302nd day - 63 days to come

Called Jules Cooper. Made a date to meet him next Tuesday at his ad agency on 48th St. I'll give him a copy of A GAMUT OF GAMES and he'll give me a copy of BEWILDER.

Made repros of the ORBIT rules.

Rcd. a postcard from Don Miller. Apologized for taking so long in answering me. Rcd. a review copy of book and will test play them in a week-end session. Will men- tion book in next TGL (THE GAMESLETTER). He is also interested in digging up forgotten games.

(Which I showed them a little on my rough model) I.Q. BLOCKS (Not a game but a scientifically designed set of building blocks. Felicia had a recommendation from Dr. Spock, which didn't impress them.)
THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS
We also looked at something called MATRIX by another of Felicia's clients. It consists of a plastic quadrille board with projections for placing tiles which contain different colors, math symbols, & numbers. (A set of letters is suggested but not included.) The tiles can be placed to form an infinite number of different boards. A notebook shows the placing for at least 30 different games, some stan- dard and some new. But there are no rules, and Felicia says he refuses to write rules.
Brought a copy of A GAMUT OF GAMES for Felicia but we gave it to them and I'll bring another to Felicia.

Brought a copy of book to office for Ken Hiller. Not in so sold it to Al Costeles instead.

Received a copy of the 1969-70 Creatives Playthings. (Possibly from John Geiger.) It contains LOGI-QUAD, PLATO GAME (A 3-D TIC-TAC-TOE - on 3x3x3 board - with rules for 4 games, one requiring players not to form a straight line.), SEXTETT (a collection of 6 games, some involving chance, but most requiring strategy and planning.), & EXPLORATION (Got the rules for this last time I was at Parker.)
