SUNDAY 28 SEPTEMBER 1969
Seventeenth Sunday after Trinity
Succoth - First Day of Tabernacles
271st day - 94 days to come
Finished the column for S & T with reviews of RISK;
TWIXT; SWAHILI; TRI-NIM; LOGI-QUAD;
DECISIONS, DECISIONS and short mentions on ACQUIRE
BAZAAR, and MONAD. Ran 2450 words instead of the
1800 Jim asked for.
Fay Baker called and BB spoke to her.
(cont. from 10/17) [10/17]
He can also jump to the empty space at either end of
his line. He could also jump to combine with either his SO or
his KO. (If this has been covered he can move any other)
The next player then must move his S (the companion card
to the one cut). This could combine with the CO, or could jump
to the right, but could not move one space to the left.
The last player to move wins. If both have a position where
they can continually jump their own cards without being able
to stop each other, it is a draw. (At first they said that in this
situation it is the player who has more cards in his piles is the winner.
We decided to eliminate this as detracting from the true
aim of the game.)
(Large version) This is the same game as 7/10/69 with the following
changes and clarifications.
The unused half of deck is shuffled and two cards are
dealt face down to each, after which, the 4 face down
cards in the field are dealt.
