Played a few games with BB and she beat me most of them.  <br>
Tried a variation in which a pc. can move as many <br>
spaces as [illegible crossed out] the player wishes as long as they are <br>
open. Also a capture cannot be made except in adjacent space. <br>
Played well. I won a particularly interesting game in  <br>
which I had 5 pcs. remaining to BB's 8 <br>
Another possibility of lengthening the game would be  <br>
to make a larger board - 6 x 6, or preferably 6 x 5 <br>
with the possible starting position as shown. Will <br>
have to try it.

Called Jim Dunnigan. Asked him rates for ad in S & T. <br>

from me. He'll get a reproduction of that back to me also. <br>
Nothing new on Infinity Corp. except that Allstate is  <br>
paying him $1,000 for his work on the Astrology <u>GAME</u>, <br>
and then the contract is being ended, as he wished.
 
Made repros of the <u>QUADRILLES</u> material and the other stuff <br>
Lech sent me to give to Martin Gardner.
 
Bought the Sept. <u>MECHANIX ILLUSTRATED</u>. My name wasn't <br>
mentioned but there were special plugs for <u>ACQUIRE</u>, <br>
<u>FOCUS</u>, and <u>BALI</u>.
