pieces. Positions should be rotated after each game.
Cossman & Levine: - <u>ANT FARM GAME</u>. (See "ad clips"). A children's
game. | |||
<u>MIX AND SPELL</u> (See "ad clips").
Also looked at the rules of <u>MY SON THE DOCTOR</u>. For each
of the 4 professions there are 8 "good" cards and 4 "bad"
cards. Some cards are dealt out and others are taken for
landing on a space. Move by throw of two dice of dif-
ferent colors - one for up & down & one for sideways. When
reach an edge rebound. There are cards for each of the
"odd job" spaces. Some are dealt out and some are taken for
landing. When land on another player's "odd job" he takes
one of your profession cards blind. Win by reaching, by exact
count, a profession while holding at least 4 good cards
and (I think) no bad ones. (Rough idea.)
Continental Promotions, Inc.:- Showed me <u>STAR QUEST</u>. Single path
around the edge. In center are about 50 constellations with
between 1 to 15 stars in each. Move around path by throw
of two dice. Most spaces allow you to place your markers
on a certain number of stars. Others cause you to
loose stars. Can choose where you want to place them. When
get more than half in a constellation win it by placing your marker
on a special star & removing the other markers. Constellations
count number of stars in the constellation. Game over when all
constellations won. 2 to 4 can play.
Showed Arnold Margolis and his father (the owners)
<u>FITTING & PROPER</u>, telling them that I had promised to show it to
someone else first. They thought it was interesting. They were also
anxious to come to my house to look at my games. But they don't want
to be low man on the totem pole. Said I'd contact them.
They have another <u>SOMA</u> initation which they call <u>HYPER-CUBES</u>.
Arnold said he had a book over 50 years old with some cubes in
them. I asked him for the name & he said he'd get it for me when
he called Minneapolis.
To Avalon Hill:- Spoke to Harold Frankel, the new sales manager. They
have 2 new games <u>C&O/ B&O</u> and <u>ANZIO</u>. Didn't have copies
except the boxes. They also now put out <u>CHOICE</u>, with 6 "family"
games. Intend to put out other sets of 6, I suggested my
