Felicia called. She got her report on the 3M royalties:
ACQUIRE $3,186.09
BAZAAR $1,868.09
MONAD $8.89
VENTURE $37.93
$5,101.00
{3,825.75 - Mine}
{1,275.25 - Agent's}
Made a lot of repros of the book diagrams.
Looked up my CHESS variant I spoke to Martin about last night. It is called DUEL CHESS and the number of checks is set between 5 & 10.
Jim Dunnigan over for supper. He brought me a letter from
Phil reiterating our conversation of yesterday.
Jim also brought me a new set of equipment for playing
THE MONEY GAME. His idea for the "Crash" in the 1929 version
is to set a certain level of speculation for causing a
crash. But each time there is heavy speculation short of this
level it brings down the level.
He brought me two versions of ORIGINS OF WORLD WAR I, one
as used in some classrooms as a simulation game and
a simplified version for use in the book. It looks good.
He brought a rough set of equipment for playing the large
version. (Board filed in large box on shelf [45]. Pieces on
shelf [16]. Rules and other material on Y filed on shelf [22])
