Made about 12 repros of the Form Letter to send to companies.

Bought 4 magic slates. Bought a trivial Whitman game
WHO IS THE THIEF?

Stan, Harris & Irv. Lubow of Renwal over in evening
with 10 games for me to evaluate. They are mainly chil-
dren's games. They are tired of waiting for Jim & Phil
to get the adult line ready and want to start with a
simpler line in the meantime. Irv gave me quite a grilling
over what I thought I could offer them; particularly about
whether a game would be a success or not. If anyone
could do that then only Monopolies would be put out.
Irv said he is trying to get Jim to make a simpler
version of RED BARON rather than getting everything completely
authentic.

As for the book, the only game that is definitely [crossouts] on sale is
BATTLE OF BRITAIN.
After they left I looked briefly at the games. Didn't seem
like much of value.
Showed them TOTALLY-- and AIRLINE briefly. Might be
interested in the latter when they [crossout] get to the adult
games.

Claude called while they were here. He picked up the March
& May Scientific Americans for me. He saw Parker's
TYCOON for $2. I have a copy, prior to Parker taking it over.

DOMINOS used for making a magic squares.
BB felt, and I agreed, that he was primarily interested
in assurance that his 3 games were great, not in my games.
After Bryce left, but before I met him, Felicia called to say that
she was sure I could show him anything without worrying.

Rcd. a letter from Haar Hoolim with a repro [crossout] of a letter
from ALPCO. His game is doing well in educational circles, but
not in department stores.

I also showed TOTALLY-- to Bryce. Not much comment.
