WEDNESDAY 27 NOVEMBER 1968
332nd day - 34 days to come

Mailed the FACTOR rules to I-S.

Alice called. A gal from an investment firm contacted her
to get the name of some smaller game companies. Their client is
a big company that wants to take over some. They want S&R
but S&R is resisting. Discussed the different companies with
Alice.
Later Alice called to ask me what I knew about AVANTE.

To McGraw Hill Bldg. to see Fred Blakely of BUSINESS WEEK
magazine. He gave me a tear shee tear sheet of the 11/30
issue which mentions me and ACQUIRE. Also gave me a
copy of BUY OR SELL and STOCK MARKET (Futures).
Gave me the rules and a picture of WALSTRETE which will be
published next year, the inventer says (Filed in Misc. Game Folder.)

To Macy's and Gimbels, Saw
STICK AROUND. (Aurora) A set of equipment with "stars"
and tubes of different colors that fit over the projections.

[Small diagram of a circle with 6 appendages sticking out around the perimeter and a dot at the center.]

There is one tube which is mounted on a
pedestal and with a star at its top. Players in turn
place tubes, or stars, trying to get rid of 6 tubes, Any one star cannot have more than one tube of the same colon stuck into it Winning by using 6 tubes and lose by tipping the structure over (Rough idea.
GO GIN (Ideal) Deck of letter cards with numbers on each.
Played with 10 in hand, I think. Draw and discard as in RUMMY
Meld must be at least a 4 letter word. Can only make
one meld on a turn but can also lay off at beginning or
end of any word already down whether or not you make a
meld. Can knock with count of 4 or less (I think). Others
can meld one more word and can also layoff against words
down, Scoring similar to GIN RUMMY. (Fairly complete idea).
AGITATION (Crestline) Another PARCHISI imitation on a
wood board.

Card came that ANOTHER • was received on 11/25.

Called Fabio in morning and he called me back shortly.
Apologized for not having read my manuscript yet. Will
read it and contact me at home.
